Ingredients
- 1 box vanilla cake mix
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup chocolate sandwich cookies (chopped)
- 1/2 cup red
- white and blue candies or sprinkles
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- In a large bowl combine cake mix, eggs, and oil; mix until smooth.
- Fold in chopped chocolate sandwich cookies.
- Add red, white and blue sprinkles and gently fold.
- Drop tablespoon‑sized dough onto parchment‑lined baking sheet, spacing 2 inches apart.
- Bake 10‑12 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
- Cool on sheet 5 minutes then transfer to wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- Cookies can be frozen in a single layer on a tray
- then stored in an airtight container for up to three months. Reheat frozen cookies at 300°F for 5 minutes for a fresh‑out feel.
