Ingredients
- ¾ cup unsalted butter, melted and slightly cooled
- 1 cup granulated sugar

- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2–3 tbsp milk
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- Pink or red food coloring
- Valentine sprinkles (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk melted butter and sugar until smooth. Add egg and vanilla and mix well.
- Stir in flour, baking powder, and salt until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Press the dough evenly into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 18–22 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden and center is set.
- Allow bars to cool completely in the pan.
- In a small bowl, whisk powdered sugar, milk, vanilla, and food coloring until smooth.
- Spread glaze over cooled cookie bars and top with sprinkles if desired.
- Let glaze set before slicing into bars and serving.
