Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, cream butter, vegetable oil, granulated sugar, and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the egg, vanilla, and sour cream; mix until smooth and creamy.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients until a soft, thick dough forms.
  6. Roll dough into balls (about 2 tablespoons each) and gently flatten to about ½ inch thickness on the baking sheet.
