  • 1 ½ lbs flank steak or sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • Salt, to taste
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Optional: chopped parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a casserole dish.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add steak slices and cook for 3–4 minutes until just browned. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add peppers and onions and sauté for 5–6 minutes until tender.
  5. Stir in garlic, black pepper, salt, and Worcestershire sauce and cook for 30 seconds.
  6. Return steak to the skillet and stir to combine.
  7. Reduce heat to low and pour in heavy cream, stirring gently.
  8. Transfer mixture to the prepared casserole dish.
  9. Top evenly with provolone and mozzarella cheese.
  10. Bake for 20–25 minutes until bubbly and lightly golden.
  11. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
