Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (205°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Slice cabbage into ¾-inch thick rounds and place on the baking sheet.
- Brush cabbage rounds with olive oil and season lightly with salt and pepper.
- Roast cabbage for 15 minutes, flipping once, until lightly golden.
- In a bowl, mix ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, pepper, and salt.
- Form beef into patties sized to fit the cabbage rounds.
- Remove cabbage from oven, place patties on top of half the rounds, and top with remaining cabbage rounds.
- Return to oven and bake for 15–18 minutes, until beef is cooked through.
- Sprinkle cheese on top and bake 2–3 more minutes until melted.
