- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp paprika
- ½ tsp black pepper
- Salt, to taste
- 1 large head green cabbage, sliced into thick rounds
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Optional toppings: sliced tomatoes, pickles, red onion, mustard or ketchup
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Place cabbage rounds on a lined baking sheet and brush with olive oil.
- Roast cabbage for 15 minutes until slightly tender and lightly crispy.
- In a bowl, mix ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Form into 4 patties.
- Remove cabbage from oven and place a patty on each cabbage round.
- Return to oven and bake 15–18 minutes until beef is cooked through.
- Top with shredded cheese and bake 2–3 more minutes until melted.
- Add desired toppings and serve warm.

- For best results, let the patties rest a few minutes before serving.
