Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, diced
  • 1 cup rice
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add diced onion and cook until translucent, about 3‑4 minutes. Stir in minced garlic and cook 1 minute.
  2. Add diced chicken and brown on all sides, about 5‑6 minutes.
  3. Stir in rice, chicken broth, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer 18‑20 minutes until rice is cooked and liquid is absorbed.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
  6. Serve warm.
